In 2012, I started working with Global Citizen in Auckland.  After some years away from charities, it was great to come back to my early experiences in the non-profit sector (War Child, Children in Crisis, Rise Phoenix).  Global Citizen is not your everyday non-profit.  The goal is to shake the cobwebs of charities and produce quality content and events that connect with a new generation who missed out on Live Aid.  Experiential challenges like Live Below the Line and the Global Citizen platform bring young people into the movement for social justice, with a journey structured to create a lifelong engagement with helping others and working towards a better world.
