After months of working closely with Tiki Taane on projects for Global Citizen, known then as Global Poverty Project, I introduced Tiki to World Vision and we laid the groundwork for a powerful collaboration.  Tiki's recording of Falling Angels, from the Global Citizen recordings that I conceived and executive-produced, was actually written about children in Aotearoa, but when we started to listen to the track with footage of World Vision's child soldiers, we knew it would work on a more universal level.  Powerhouse performances from Tiki, Ria Hall and Maitreya make the track unforgettable.  I edited the video with a haunting narrative of the falling angels as child soldiers, helping World Vision put the focus on this important issue.
