In 2011, I bought a converted 40ft shipping container that had been custom built for the Rugby World Cup. The ArtBox was equipped with a cinema screen, several light boxes and TV monitors for other video content. With this baseline setup, I worked with the Queen's Wharf to curate and produce dozens of popular public art events in downtown Auckland, over several years. Fusing street art, fine art and video installation, the ArtBox became an instant hit with crowds flocking to experience the latest shows and take part in the interactive, co-creative experiences.
